Tam się kryją tylko rybki
Bezimienne nieuważne
Istotniejsze są zadania
ważna jest ta lekkość ciała
Poruszanie się w ten sposób
Żeby łuska aż jaśniała
Nic innego się nie liczy
Tylko niewzruszone trwanie
Miękka, ciepła przestrzeń wokół
i uważny ciągły taniec
Deepth of silence, lightness of the body
shapes of little sharpness
Maybe a few are familiar
though they’ re not quite real
Unwavering warm calm
Only sometimes crosses the road
Something small, noiselessly
That hardly I can acknowledge
The shapes are sparkling with a strange light
Maybe they're calling someone
Hence they seem quite small
And they merge into a glow
You don't look at these shapes
They are not important at all
Only fishes hide there
Nameless, inattentive
There are more important tasks
the lightness of the body is essential
Moving the way
that makes a scales shines
Nothing else matters
Only unwavering persistence
A soft, warm space around
and attentive continuous dance

Karolina Beimcik in an award - winning artist who was born in Poznań, Poland. She is trained as a classical violinist and jazz singer, drawing from many other influences, including Polish and Ukrainian folk music and poetry. Recently she curated two musical projects under the patronage of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage: 'Zorya' extemsively promoted in USA , and ‘Komeda. Stories Crafted With Sounds. With her music she performed in USA, Mexico, Ukraine, Germany, India.
